To prepare for the home inspection: 

• The gas pilots, water and power should be on.  

• The attic and crawl space need to be accessible, not nailed or painted shut. Insulation usually falls from the attic hatch onto nearby items, you may want to cover or move them.

• Buck will need to get to the water heater, furnace/AC and electrical panels.

• Some pets may need to be restrained.

During the home inspection:

Buck Munson will be on-site for about 3 hours looking for items that have a significant impact on the homes value and safety. Concentrating on the job at hand, taking notes and photos is vital to a thorough inspection. Retired Builder LLC finds it is best to meet with you for about an hour, after the inspection to go over the issues found.  Then Buck carefully prepares your full report with photos, arrows and explanations and emails it to you. This saves you time and ensures a complete written report. If you like, Buck will also email the report to your Realtor.
