Inspector Buck will examine the entire house, inside and out, for issues or defects that could impact the home's value and safety. This includes dry rot and wood destroying insect (NPMA-33) investigations.
The inspection will last roughly three hours, followed by a one-hour walk-through. You need not be present for the inspection.
A comprehensive inspection report, filled with photos and detailed notes, is emailed to you the following day and can also be sent to your realtor.
To prepare for your home inspection:
-
Turn on gas, water and power.
-
Make sure the attic, crawl space, water heater, furnace/AC and electrical panels are accessible.
-
Keep dogs away from inspection areas.
