To prepare for the foundation inspection:
- Buck Munson will need access around the perimeter of the manufactured home.
- Some pets may need to be restrained.
- He will need to get under the home to see the foundation area.
- Please unlock access panels to the underfloor area.
- Buck does not need to see inside the home.
During the foundation inspection:
Inspector Buck usually completes the on-site portion of your manufactured home foundation inspection in under 1 hour. Then Retired Builder LLC completes a report for the Engineering Firm that determines if the foundation is FHA, VA, HUD compliant. Most Engineer's Foundation Certifications are completed in 4 to 5 days. They can be completed in a little as 24 to 48 hours if needed. Your payment is made to the engineering firm by credit card or Buck will need to get a check from you when he is on-site. If paying by credit card, you do not need to be present for the inspection.
